Project and Location
Nature-friendly and smart living environment
At the heart of the Taruküla development, located on the picturesque Pakri Peninsula, lies a commitment to living close to nature, human-centered planning, community spirit, and a health-supporting lifestyle.
The outdoor spaces have been designed with careful consideration of the movement of the sun, wind, and light, using natural materials and ensuring year-round comfort and usability.
Green is not just a color.
It's a lifestyle.

Taruküla is located in the only officially designated Green Municipality in Estonia
Lääne-Harju Municipality supports the principles of the green network, and Taruküla is an energy-independent and autonomous village situated in Estonia’s only officially recognized Green Municipality.
The goal of the Green Municipality is to encourage greater awareness and consideration of natural and cultural values at every level – within communities, local governments, and among entrepreneurs. Its broader mission is to create a model of a human-friendly, sustainable, and smart way of living.
- The buildings and public spaces of Taruküla follow the principles of the green corridor – featuring green roofs, natural landscaping, and a low carbon footprint.
- The entire village is built on autonomous renewable energy solutions: a solar park, wind turbines, rainwater systems, and smart building management.
- This environment is perfectly suited for those seeking a sustainable lifestyle.
